1. Agreement

By accessing or using TailorMyResume ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by TailorMyResume (the "Operator").

2. The Service

TailorMyResume provides an online tool that tailors resume text and generates cover letters based on content you provide. A free preview is available without payment. Full access requires a one-time license purchase.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate resume content that belongs to you. You may not upload third parties' personal data without their consent.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Your use of the AI features must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits misrepresentation, sexually explicit (NSFW) content, targeted abuse, and other misuse.

4. License and payment

• A license is a one-time purchase granting you personal, non-transferable, non-commercial access to the full features of the Service.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider (Merchant of Record). Prices are shown in USD and include applicable indirect taxes where required.
• License keys are for your personal use only. Sharing, reselling, or publicly distributing keys may result in termination without refund.

5. Refund policy

If the Service does not work as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are made through the original payment channel.

6. AI-generated output disclaimer

Output generated by the Service is provided for assistance purposes. You are responsible for reviewing all content for accuracy and truthfulness before sending it to any employer. The Service does not guarantee job interviews, employment, or any specific outcome.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you submit. You receive a perpetual, worldwide license to use the output you generate. The Service's name, design, and code remain the property of the Operator.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features; material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
