This policy explains what data TailorMyResume ("we", "the Service") collects and how it is used. We designed the Service to collect as little as possible.

2. What we collect

• Resume and job description text you paste — used only to generate your tailored result. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to train AI models.
• Email address — only if you purchase a license or contact support (to deliver your license key and receipts).
• Payment data — handled entirely by our payment provider (Merchant of Record). We never see or store your card details.
• Basic technical logs — anonymous usage metrics (pages visited, errors) to keep the Service working.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
• We do not require an account to use the free preview.

4. Retention and deletion

Pasted resume text is processed to produce your result and is not kept longer than needed to deliver it. You may request deletion of any data associated with your purchase at any time by contacting us.

5. Third parties

We rely on a small number of processors: our payment/Merchant-of-Record provider (billing, taxes, fraud prevention), our hosting provider (serving the site), and our AI processing provider (generating your output). Each processes data only to deliver the Service.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

The Service is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data; no method of transmission is 100% secure.

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
